Free mountain railway (ascent and descent)
NEW with us in summer 2025:
We are very pleased to inform you that from next summer the Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG will be included for you. During your stay you have the opportunity to use the Schlossalmbahn, the Stubnerkogelbahn and the Graukogelbahn free of charge.
Arrival & departure
On day of arrival rooms are available from 2.00 pm. We kindly ask guests to vacate their rooms by 10.00 am an day of departure.
Rental of hiking & nordic walking poles
You can borrow hiking and nordic walking poles free of charge from reception (in winter reservation required).
Equipment for babies & toddlers
We provide cots and highchairs for our younger guests free of charge.
Free internet
Free wi-fi internet available throughout the whole hotel.
Room & hotel safe
Each room is equipped with a safe. You can also deposit your valuables in our hotel safe at reception.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in our hotel. We kindly ask for your understanding.
Smoking
The Hotel Völserhof is a non-smoking hotel.
Guest card
On arrival our guests receive the Gastein Card free of charge. This card entitles you to free admission to a number of attractions and a wide range of discounts.
Extra Service
For services that are not included in our inclusive services, a surcharge is to be expected.
Car park
There are plenty of parking spaces available in front of our hotel.
Covered parking for motorbikes
Take advantage of our covered parking and keep your motorbike dry.
Reductions for children
Reductions for children when sharing their parents’ room:
- under 3 years: free of charge
- from 3 – 5 years: – 70 %
- from 5 – 10 years: – 50 %
- from 11 – 14 years: – 30 %
Resort tax
Room prices are excluding resort tax (€ 2,40 per person 15 years and over per night). For stays of 5 nights or more a single fee of € 1,10 will be charged.
From 1.May 2025
Prices are in Euro pro person per night, incl. gourmet half board, excl. health spa/resort taxes (€ 2,90 per person 15 years and over per night). For stays of 5 nights or more single charge of € 1,10 per person. Subject to charge. Errors and omissions excepted.
Short stay supplement
A short stay supplement of € 3,00 per person per night will be charged for stays of up to 3 nights.
Conditions of payment
We accept cash, EC cards and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard or Eurocard).
Conditions of cancellation
Cancellation conditions according to Austrian Hotel Regulations apply.
You may cancel your booking without charge up to 3 month prior to your arrival.
From 3 month up to 1 month prior to your arrival, that cancellation fee is 40% of the cost of the booking.
From 1 month to 1 week prior to your arrival, the cancellation fee is 70% of the booking price.
When you cancel during the last week before you arrive we will invoice you 90% of the cost of your booking, on early departure or now show 100%.
Travel insurance
Please note, that a booking is a purchase agreement. In the event of cancellation, late arrival and early departure cancellation fees will be charged. For this reason we recommend you take out travel insurance.
